Torreense v Sunderland live: score, updates and line-ups

Full time: Torreense 1-2 Sunderland. Volnei Feltes had given the hosts a surprise lead before the break, but Sunderland's relentless pressure finally told through Ahoka's header, and Sadiki's stoppage-time strike completed a deserved late turnaround. The Black Cats were utterly dominant throughout, finishing with 22 shots to Torreense's 3 and over 60% of the possession, making this a thoroughly merited away win sealed in the dying seconds.

What a finish! Sunderland finally find the breakthrough they'd been chasing all night as Sadiki drills home from the centre of the box, Xhaka with the assist, to turn the dominance into a dramatic late winner. 1-2 in the sixth minute of stoppage time and the Black Cats look set to complete a thoroughly deserved turnaround.

Huge drama deep into stoppage time - Mukiele's late yellow for a foul was followed moments later by a penalty award, with Diadié penalised for a foul in the Torreense box. Sunderland have continued to dominate territory and shots (now 20-2) without quite finding the breakthrough from open play, and now have the chance to snatch it from twelve yards.

Sunderland have kept the hammer down since levelling, piling on six more shots to push the tally to 18-2 overall. Paes denied Ahoka from close range and Alderete tried his luck from distance, while Rigg also had an effort blocked, but Torreense's block continues to hold firm at 1-1 as the Black Cats search for a winner.

Sunderland finally get their reward! Mukiele's cross from the right is met by Jules Ahoka, who rises to head home from the centre of the box and level things up at 1-1. Fully deserved on the balance of play, with the Black Cats dominating possession and peppering the Torreense goal all evening.

Sunderland have kept pouring forward, making four changes in the space of a few minutes as fresh legs in Le Fée, Xhaka, Mukiele and Reinildo try to force an opening. The shot count has climbed to 11-1 and corners to 8-1 in the Black Cats' favour, with Ahoka's low drive the latest effort to go begging, but Torreense's deep block and goalkeeper are still holding firm.

Sunderland have ramped up the pressure since the restart, doubling their shot tally to 7-1 and winning five corners to Torreense's one as they search for an equaliser. Alderete's gone close twice - first with a free kick, then a header-assisted effort - while Angulo also tested the Torreense defence, but the goal still won't come despite the Black Cats' control.

A quiet start to the second half with little change in the stats - Sunderland still shade possession at 56% and lead the shot count 3-1, but there's been no clear chance from either side since the restart. Noah Sadiki picked up an early foul as the Black Cats look to build pressure again and find a way back on terms with Torreense.

Against the run of play, Torreense take the lead! Volnei Feltes curls a right-footed effort from outside the box into the top corner after being set up by Amine Oudrhiri, and Sunderland find themselves behind despite all their dominance of the ball and territory.

Sunderland remain firmly in the ascendancy, extending their possession further and winning another corner as Fofana had a shot blocked from the edge of the box. Torreense are still without a shot of their own and the game has turned a touch feisty, with free kicks flying in from both sides, though the Black Cats continue to boss territory without yet finding a breakthrough.

Sunderland continue to dominate territory and have grown their share of possession to almost 60%, though the clear-cut chances have dried up slightly in the last few minutes. The game has become a bit scrappy with free kicks conceded by both Alderete and Mutombo, while João Marques was flagged offside trying to catch the visitors out. Torreense still haven't managed a shot of their own as Sunderland keep control.

Sunderland have made all the early running in this one. Chris Rigg's corner nearly brought the opener when O'Nien headed just wide from close range, and the Black Cats have forced two corners already with Sadiki also having a shot blocked. Torreense haven't managed an attempt yet and are chasing shadows early on.
